About Stephen J Kolski

Upon earning a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Notre Dame, Stephen J. Kolski enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law and graduated in 1990 with a juris doctor degree. While still pursuing his JD, he worked as a law clerk at Catlin, Saxon, Tuttle, and Evans, P.A., and joined the firm as a litigation attorney in 1990. Stephen J. Kolski worked at the firm for 15 years and earned equal equity partner status in 2002.

During his tenure at the firm, Stephen Kolski managed an annual caseload of 90 litigation and arbitration files in state and federal courts. As a prosecutor and defense attorney, he handled cases involving business tort, employment discrimination, banking, construction, and property insurance. Some of his notable cases include Teitig v. Boggs, 602 So.2d 1250 (Fla. 1992) and Nuvoloso v. Nuvoloso, 8 So.3d 1146 (Fla. 3d DCA 2009).

Since 2016, he has served as president of Stephen J. Kolski & Associates, PA, in Coral Gables, Florida. Acting as the firm’s senior attorney, he continues to build upon his expertise in cases involving the aforementioned legal matters. He also serves as a mentor to the firm’s sole litigation associate. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is a member of the Coral Reef Yacht Club and past president of the Riviera Child Care Center’s board of directors.
